Twenty years ago the National Folclore Ballet JACCHIGUA was created as a cultural need of our country, later becoming the National Ballet of Ecuador.

Intended to achieve the recognition of the national and international public, our traditions and ancient customs recover and support the memory as our only heritage with values, identity and dignity of a Multicultural Ecuador. This is the reason for which Jacchigua is today the First Cultural Living Heritage of Ecuador.

Dancers, musicians and technical personnel work with their knowledge and artistic sensibility to create scenic and choreographic assembles in order to spread our cultural artistic richness. Presented in Convents, museums, hotels, squares and streets of the Historical Center of Quito; we form part of the most representative and exclusive events of the city.
